The clashes continue near Mahin in the countryside of Homs, and shelling targets the city of Talbisah

Homs Province:

The violent clashes took place between the regime forces and allied militiamen against IS in the areas between the city of al- Qaryatain and town of Mahin in the southeast of Homs, where IS tried to advance and take control over the strategic town after seizing the city of al- Qaryatain in August 5. The clashes accompanied by intense shelling by the regime forces on IS positions in the area.

 

The warplanes carried out several raids on the outskirts of the city of al- Qaryatain with no information about casualties.

 

The regime forces shelled places around Palmyra area, the oilfield of Jazal in the east of Homs. They also shelled places in the city of Talbisah in the north of Homs.
