First day in 2023 | Violent clashes erupt between Kurdish forces, regime forces and National Army factions on frontline of Al-bab city east of Aleppo.

Violent clashes with heavy and medium machine guns have erupted between Kurdish and regime forces on the one hand and Turkish-backed National Army factions on the frontline of Abla village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported so far.

In a related development, the regime forces stationed in Tadef town in the eastern countryside of Aleppo targeted residential neighbourhoods, Tadef roundabout and grain silos in the National Army-controlled section of Tadaf city.

On December 29, three members of “Al-Waqas” brigade operating under the banner of the Turkish National Army were killed when their car on Tuis frontline in Marea city, north of Aleppo, was targeted by a heat-seeking missile fired from areas where the regime and Turkish forces were deployed.
