With aerial support | “International Coalition” conducts military exercises in largest base in Syria

Deir Ezzor province: Loud explosions were heard in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, as a result of the military exercises conducted by the International Coalition in Al-Omar oil field, which is the largest International Coalition base in Syria, coinciding with flight of Intenrational Coalition planes over the region.

A few hours ago, “International Coalition” helicopters were flying at low altitude over the eastern area in Zaiban, Al-Shahil and Al-Basira in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and the line along Euphrates River separating SDF-held areas and areas held by Iranian militias on the opposite side of Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor countryside, to monitor the area and movements.

SDF-held areas, especially in Deir Ezzor, have witnessed an escalation of intensity of ISIS attacks, in addition to eruption of clashes from time to time between regime forces and SDF members near river crossings.

Iranian-backed militias control the western bank of Euphrates river, and target military bases of the International Coalition in NE of Syria.
