IS-IS resurgence | Two Al-Asayesh members injured in landmine explosion in Al-Raqqa

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of two members of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh”, due to the explosion of a landmine on the side of the road coinciding with the passing of their military vehicle on the road between Ain Eissa and Tel Al-Samn in northern Al-Raqqa countryside. It is believed that the landmines were planted by ISIS cells

This comes in light of the escalation of activities of ISIS cells in SDF-held areas in NE of Syria, especially following the bloodiest attack in Al-Raqqa.

SOHR activists have reported that residents found the body of an unidentified man in his 40s, showing signs of gunshots to the head. It was believed that ISIS cells executed him.

This took place in Abo Al-Naital village northern of Deir Ezzor, and the body was taken to the hospital before being buried in Al-Soor graveyard.
