Aerial support by International Coalition | Special units arrest two people for “participating in violent attack”

Al-Raqqa province: Special Units of the Internal Security Forces executed a security operation with aerial support by the International Coalition forces in Maisalon neighbourhood in northern Al-Raqqa countryside, and arrested two people for “participating in the largest ISIS attack on centres, headquarters and Intelligence Prison in Al-Raqqa on December 26”, and they were taken to the security centres.

Al-Raqqa city has witnessed security mobilization, amid cutting of roads in the city and reinforcement of security centres to protect them.

Yesterday, SDF security units continued their campaign in Al-Raqqah province to pursue ISIS cells, following the violent and deadliest attack carried out by ISIS cells on December 26. Nearly 30 people have been arrested by security units since the attack.
