Refusing Turkish-Syrian rapprochement | Activists call for protests tomorrow under slogan “Never will we reconciliate”

Activists called for protests in several areas in the Syrian north on Friday on social media, under the slogan of “Never will we reconciliate” to express refusal to the reconciliation and the normalization with the regime and the Turkish-Syrian rapprochement. This comes after the latest meeting that was held in Moscow at the beginning of last month between the minister of Defence and the Turkish minister of Defence, and the statements by Erdogan and Turkish officials regarding the rapprochement with the regime.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the protests will include nearly 22 areas in the Syrian north including Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, towns and cities of Idlib, Jisr Al-Shughor, Sarmada, Al-Dana, Kafr Takharim, Al-Atarib, Armanaz, Afrin, Jarablus, Soran, Marae’, Atma, Ma’aratmasrin, Rajo, Qabasin and others.

Moreover, the activists called for all residents to go out in the streets to condemn the Turkish statement, to confirm the continuation of the Syrian revolution and to express their refusal to the Turkish-Syrian rapprochement.

Earlier today, dozens of Idlib residents gathered in a popular demonstration in Idlib city to reject reconciliation with the regime and the Turkish-Syrian rapprochement.

The demonstrators called for the overthrow of the regime and lifted placards reads “Rise up to restore our Revelation,” a sign of steadfastness to the demands of the Syrian people from the start of the Revolution until the overthrow of the regime.

The demonstrators asserted that reconciliation and rapprochement with the regime will only be in the interest of the regime and the Turks, whose tricks and inhumanity have long been exposed by the Syrian people and have built their plans at the expense of the blood of the Syrian people.
