“Sa’akat Al-Jazira” operation | Nearly 260 people arrested in SDF-held areas

The security forces and SDF ended “Sa’akat Al-Jazira” operation, eight days after it started.

During the operation, nearly 260 members including an Emir of ISIS and others accused of providing logistic and financial support to ISIS.

The members of the operation thwarted the plans of launching terrorist attacks in the region.

Members of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh”, supported by the International Coalition, participated in “Sa’akat Al-Jazira” operation.

During the campaign, the forces seized amounts of weapons and military uniforms, in addition to fake identities used by ISIS cells.

Moreover, the forces combed 55 villages and farms, including 23 villages and farms during the last 24 hours of the operation.
