Rampant security chaos | Killing of school principal by underage age student sparks angry and popular discontent in regime-held areas in Hama

The headmaster of a school in Al-Qusour neighbourhood of Hama city died of injuries he sustained yesterday after being stabbed with a sharp tool by a student of the same school, a child under the age of 18.

The school principal was stabbed with more than one stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to the hospital, then he died of his injuries.

This comes in light of the ongoing escalation of the crime rate in regime-held areas amid widespread security chaos throughout the provinces.

SOHR activists have monitored great public discontent over the killing of the school principal.

The activists on social media have circulated the incident, denouncing the security chaos and the situation throughout the Syrian provinces as the escalating crime rate.

On January 3, SOHR activists reported that a gang comprising a woman and two young men attempted to rob a jewellery store in Yabrod in Rif Dimashq, after shooting the store owner in front of his house.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the woman was the partner of the victim, and she planned with her brother and a third person to shoot the victim in exchange for 25,000 USDs.

Accordingly, the store owner was injured severely and was taken to receive medical treatment, while local authorities interfered and arrested them.

Yesterday, residents found the body of a woman killed in mysterious circumstances, with her body dumped in an Arabic well in the area between Shain town and Jab Al-Bostan village in Homs countryside, after she went missing nearly two months ago, while local authorities interfered to expose the details of the crime.
