For “belonging to Kurdish People’s Protection Units” | Turkish Intelligence and its security forces arrest four civilians in Afrin

Aleppo province: Members of a patrol of the Civil Police arrested a woman from Shaikhotka village in Maabatly district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo during the few past days for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, to collect ransoms.

On the same context, members of a joint patrol of the Military Police and the Turkish Intelligence arrested three civilians from Shaikhotka village at two several incidents on December 6 and December 9, for “belonging to Kurdish People’s Protection Units.”

On January 8, SOHR sources reported that the civil police in Ma’batli district in Afrin countryside released two civilians from the district, after their families had paid a ransom of 150 USD every person. The two men had been arrested for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.”

On the other hand, members of a military police patrol arrested a civilian from Qarrah Kool village in Bolbol district from his living place in Afrin city for unknown reasons. The man was taken to the notorious prison of Ma’ratah in Afrin countryside.
