Violations in Afrin | Turkish-backed “National Army” factions fell olive trees and take over civilians’ houses

Aleppo province: A group of members of the “National Army” factions and their families felled nearly 115 olive trees in Hayama village in Balil district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo, under the eyes of Turkish forces and their proxies, to sell them as heating logs.

On the same context, an armed member of the “National Army” from Idlib countryside sold a house in Al-Ashrafiyah neighbourhood in Afrin city for 1,200 USDs, where the house belongs to a civilian from Al-Kana village in Shaikh Al-Hadid district.

Moreover, members of “Al-Hamza Division” faction took over the house of a civilian from Kafr Zait village by force, expelled him from his house and threatened to kill him if he issued complaints against the faction, while “Al-Sultan Murad” faction took over a house in Mirkan village in Maabatly district by force to house the family of one of the faction’s gunmen, in addition to taking over five commercial stores that belong to the same civilian.

A group of members of “Al-Sham Legion” affiliated to the Turkish Intelligence stole nearly ten cans of olive oil from the house of a woman in Basofan village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, and threatened to kill her if she issued a complaint against them for the Military Police.
