Turkish shelling | Three regime officers among four regime forces injured in north-western Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: Turkish forces fired rockets on positions of regime forces in Mayassah village, under the control of Kurdish and regime forces, in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, injuring four regime forces, including three officers, and they are: A colonel, lieutenant colonel and sergeant.

On January 8, SOHR sources reported that violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons erupted between regime forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of Tel Jayjan and Abla in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, following attacks by the factions on regime positions. This coincides with the ongoing escalation by the faction. According to SOHR sources, the violent clashes left six casualties among regime forces, and the death of at least four was confirmed.
