Two separate incidents | Member of Al-Asayesh kil-led and another injured by IS-IS cells

An SDF member was injured due to the explosion of an IED planted by ISIS cells on the road of Ain Eissa town northern of Al-Raqqa, coinciding with the passage of a military vehicle carrying SDF members.

A member of the Internal Security Forces was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on a motorbike, who are believed to belong to ISIS, in Al-Hesan town in western Deir Ezzor countryside, while the gunmen fled to an unknown destination.

This comes in light of the escalation of ISIS activity in SDF-held areas in northern and eastern of Syria.

Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 13 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.
According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 12 persons dead: One civilian, an unidentified man and nine members of SDF,two of the Internal Security Forces, and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.
The attacks and fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:
• Al-Raqqah: six attacks left three SDF members dead.
• Deir Ezzor: Three attacks left one civilian and an unidentified man dead.
• Aleppo: Two attacks left six soldiers, including commanders, dead.
