Security chaos | Gunmen attack Military Police headquarters in Ras Al-Ain

Al-Hasakah province: Unidentified gunmen driving a car opened fire with machineguns on the headquarters of the Turkish-backed Military Police near the silos factory in Ras Al-Ain in “Peace Spring” area north western of Al-Hasakah.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the assailants clashes with members of the “Military Police” before fleeing. However, no casualties or extent of damage have been reported yet.

On January 1, members of “Al-Hamza Division” stormed the house of a civilian in Tel Orkom village in Ras Al-Ain countryside within “Peace Spring” area in Al-Hasakah countryside, because the house owner refused to pay royalties to the members of the Division.
According to reliable SOHR sources, members of the Turkish-backed Al-Hamza Division violated the sanctity of the house and opened fire in the village and on residents of the house, injuring the son of the house owner severely, and he was taken to a hospital in Jilan Banr in Turkey.
