Wedding turns into a funeral | Young man ki-lled by stray bullets in areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias east of Al-Raqqah

Al-Raqqah province: A young man was killed yesterday by an accidental gunshot fired during a wedding ceremony in areas held by regime and Iranian-backed militia in Maadan in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah.

This comes in light of the arms proliferation and the ongoing chaos in areas controlled by the regime forces.

On January 1, SOHR activists reported that an 18-year-old girl was shot in the head by a stray bullet, coinciding with New Year’s celebrations. The girl is from Tel Hajar neighbourhood of Al-Hasakah countryside. The girl was treated and given intensive care due to her critical injury.
