Near frontlines | Young man shot dead by regime soldiers in Manbij

Aleppo province: A young man from Ahmir Jais village in Manbij countryside eastern of Aleppo was killed, where he was shot dead by regime soldiers near the frontlines separating SDF-held areas and regime-held areas near Al-Tayha village as he was returning to Manbij city, coming from one of the smuggling lines.

It is worth noting that the young man works in smuggling fuels from SDF-held areas to regime-held areas.

Yesterday, a smuggler was shot dead while he was smuggling a truck loaded with diesel, where members of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” shot him for refusing to stop at Al-Khotaf checkpoint to be searched eastern of Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside and he headed towards Al-Khotaf village, while members of the Internal Security Forces chased him and opened fire on the truck.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the victim hails from Tel Jabrin village in northern Aleppo countryside and lives in Al-Khotaf village in Manbij city.
