Security chaos | Commander affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” ass-assinated in Daraa

Daraa province: A commander of the general intelligence administration, who is affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah, was shot dead while he was inside a house in Al-Hara city in north western Daraa countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the victim hails from Nimr village, where the residents accuse him of “participating in storming civilians’ houses and arresting residents of Al-Hara city”, and he has good relations with the Lebanese Hezbollah militias and leads a local group of the general intelligence intelligence in Al-Jaidor area after undergoing reconciliation with the regime in 2018, and was previously a commander of factions opposing the regime.

Since early 2023, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 16, which left eight people dead; and they are as follows:
• Two civilians, including a woman.
• Five regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services.
• One former fighter who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
