To establish Turkish base | Turkish-backed factions threaten residents and give them 72 hours period to give up their properties

Aleppo province: The Turkish-backed “National Army” factions threatened residents of Atmana village in Rajo district in Afrin, and gave the residents 72 hours period to give up 300 olive trees in the archeological hill near the entrance of Rajo district in the southern side, to build a new Turkish Military base in the village.

According to reliable SOHR sources, “National Army” factions told the residents to give up the lands that belong to a civilian from Kurdish areas in the village.

Members of the Civil Police summoned the residents to pressure them to give up these trees, where their demands were rejected and the residents confirmed that they would preserve the properties.

Turkish officers asked the residents to come to their headquarters located in the secondary school in Rajo, in order to satisfy them to give up ownership of those lands in exchange for money or giving them lands in other areas, while the “National Army” factions threatened the people and confirmed that the military base will be established whether if the people accept or refuse.
