Amid protests to rehabilitate the Syrian regime | Security services in areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo countryside put on high alert

SOHR sources have reported that security services in several areas in north-western Syria have been put on high alert following calls by activists on social media upon the region’s residents to participate in mass protests on Friday to express their rejection of any political solutions with the Syrian regime and rapprochement between Ankara and Damascus.

According to SOHR activists, the “National Army” opposed the calls for demonstrations in all areas in north-west Syria, especially in Al-Bab, Azaz and Mare’.

In this context, the revolutionaries of Al-Bab city issued a statement, calling upon the residents to start public protests after Friday prayer at the roundabout of the “martyr Abu Ghannoum,” stressing their rejection of reconciliations with the Syrian regime and their adherence to the fundamental of the Syrian Revolution. In the statement, Al-Bab revolutionaries also announced their rejection of all efforts to rehabilitate Al-Assad’s regime, stressing that Syrian people would never accept any solutions but the toppling of the Syrian regime and all cronies close to the ruling class.

Earlier, several activists in Idlib have circulated posts on their social media accounts against Turkey and subordinated factions which abandoned the Syrian people’s aspiration and dreams to enjoy democracy, freedom and dignity, asking Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the so-called “Ministry of Defence” to issue a statement clarifying their stance towards the latest trilateral meeting.

Several areas in north-west Syria experienced public anger following the announcement of a meeting supposed to be attended by the Russian Minister of Defence, his Turkish and Syrian counterparts, the head of the Turkish-intelligence services and his Syrian counterpart on Wednesday.
