Torture victim | Residents find body of young man with hands tied in Homs

Homs province: A young man was killed by a gunshot to the head, where he was executed after being tortured by unidentified people and his body was found with his hands tied in the northern neighbourhood in Talbisa city in northern Homs countryside, without knowing the identity and motivation of the perpetrators.

Since early 2023, the Syrian Observatory has documented 14 murders in regime-controlled areas, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 15 civilians: Four women, and 11 young and adult men, dead.
The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:
• Al-Suwaydaa: Three men.
• Rif Dimashq: One man, two young men and a woman.
• Homs: One woman and one young man.
• Hama: Two men.
• Daraa: One man.
• Damascus: One woman.
• Latakia: One man and a woman.
