“Syrian authorities manufacture drugs” | Sentences written on walls call for protests against the regime

Al-Suwaydaa province: Residents of Al-Luwa and Arman villages in Al-Suwaydaa countryside wrote sentences on walls against the Syrian regime, where the sentences denounced the starvation and displacement of residents of Al-Suwaydaa and calls for uprising, demanding the release of the detainees and combatting the Syrian authorities that manufacture and promote drugs in Al-Suwaydaa.

The sentences read: “Free life without humiliation… Bashar Al-Assad is a drug dealer… Bashar and his company are accused of manufacturing and promoting drugs in Al-Suwaydaa… If we do not protect our rights we lose our dignity… We represent the poor people so uprise for your dignity… We want the detainees… The streets await our children.”

This comes in light of the repeated stands against the regime, and the regime’s inability to secure the demands of the residents and providing them a decent life.

On January 17, unidentified people wrote sentences on walls against the Syrian regime in Hazm village in northern Al-Suwaydaa countryside, calling to overthrow the Syrian regime, and the sentences included: “Down goes Al-Assad… Assad of the Fenethylline… Al-Assad sold the country… Al-Baath is a traitorous party.”
