Fourth incidence in 2023 | Residents find body of newborn girl in SDF-held areas in Al-Raqqa

Al-Raqqa province: Residents have found the body of a newborn girl near the main road western of Al-Raqqa city within SDF-held areas.

This comes in light of security chaos and escalation of phenomenon of abandoning newborn babies in Syria.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth case of its kind in 2023.

On January 9, a masked man dumped an unidentified baby, who is few months old, from a car near Kazih Khasho in Manbij city eastern of Aleppo within SDF-held areas, before fleeing to an unknown destination.
