Routine patrol | “International Coalition” planes fly over Deir Ezzor

International Coalition helicopters were flying at low altitude over Euphrates river and areas separating between SDF and Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor countryside.

This coincided with routine patrol to monitor the river and the movements of the Syrian regime, where the patrol roamed the eastern countryside all the way to the laboratories.

Moreover, “International Coalition” forces conducted a patrol in the vicinity of Koniko field, where the patrol left the field as part of routine patrol.

On January 18, four “International Coalition” helicopters set off from the military base in Al-Omar oil field, which is the largest base in Syria, and flew at low altitude over “Euphrates River” separating between SDF-held areas and areas held by regime and Iranian militias, and flew over Al-Basira, Al-Shahil, Al-Zir and Al-Tayana all the way to Abo Hardob town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
This took place in order to monitor operations of weapon smuggling by Iranian militias to SDF-held areas.
“International Coalition” forces executed military exercises with live ammunition and heavy artillery, in participation of SDF, in two military bases in Al-Shadady town in southern countryside and the base of Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah.
