Having entered bo*oby-trap*ped house | Regime soldier and two SDF fighters ki*lled in Tel Abyad countryside

SOHR sources have reported that a regime soldier and two SDF fighters were killed in an explosion in a house in Kur Hassan village in the western countryside of Tel Abyad countryside in the north of Homs province.

According to SOHR sources, the three members were searching for fire logs in houses, when a landmine exploded in them in a booby-trapped house near the frontlines with Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Kur Hassan village. The explosion resulted in the collapse of the house, while the bodies of the three fatalities were extracted from under the rubble in presence of Russian forces.

On January 10, SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area with heavy artillery shelled positions in Al-Tawila villages and the Assyrian village of Tel Tawil in the western countryside of Tel Tamr in northern Al-Hasakah.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces and their proxies fired several artillery shells nearby Mu’allaq village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah.

This coincides with the escalating military operations by Turkish forces and their proxies in areas controlled by SDF and affiliated military formations in north and east Syria.
