Having criticised preacher | HTS general security service arrests civilian in Idlib

Idlib province: SOHR sources have reported that the general security service of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested a civilian and took him to a security centre for commenting on a post on Facebook, criticising a preacher affiliated with HTS for provoking people to endure poverty without mentioning the systematic project of starving Syrians.

In the same context, a woman have appealed to relevant authorities to release her son who is detained in an HTS prison for participating in demonstrations in Idlib, in which demonstrators opposed the rapprochement between Ankara and Damascus.

This comes as a part of the arbitrary arrests by HTS against civilians.

On January 20, SOHR sources reported that members of the general security services of HTS arrested two young men, who are affiliated to “Hezb Al-Tahrir” (Al-Tahrir party), after the young men participated in protests staged by loyalists of the party in Idlib, under the name of “Turkish regime assists Al-Assad’s regime in destroying Al-Sham revolution”, where they were taken to security centres of HTS.
