Al-Raqqah | Two bodies of man and woman found in car near Euphrates river

Al-Raqqah province: Today, residents found two unidentified bodies of a woman and a man inside a Peugeot car near Euphrates river west of the old bridge. The two bodies were recovered and taken to the national Hospital in Al-Raqqah, to be identified.

On December 21, A river ferry carrying three regime soldiers en route to Al-Tabqah, Al-Raqqah countryside sank in the Euphrates river, one soldier died, and two others were taken to the hospital for treatment, one of them in critical condition.

It is worth noting that there are river crossings linking regime-held areas with “SDF-held areas, where civilians are forced to move between those areas via primitive ferries.
