Security chaos | Young man working in a pharmacy shot dead in SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Residents found the body of a young man shot in the head inside the pharmacy that he works in, in Al-Nashwa Al-Gharbiyah neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city in SDF-held areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the young man is displaced from Ras Al-Ain, where the reasons behind the crime was not revealed.

The Syrian Observatory has documented seven murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2023, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left nine civilian fatalities, including two women and a little girl; they are distributed regionally as follows:
• Al-Hasakah: One man.
• Deir Ezzor: Six civilians, including a woman.
• Al-Raqqah: Two civilians: a woman and a little girl.
