Military reinforcement | Weapons and ammunition enter security square area in “capital” of Iranian-backed militias west of Euphrates

Deir Ezzor province: Chiller lorries arrived at the security square in Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the western Euphrates area, on Tuesday, January 24. Chiller lorries unloaded their cargo at warehouses of the Afghan Fatimiyoun militia in the area there.

According to SOHR sources, the four trucks entered, amid a significant mobilisation of militias. Trucks unloaded into Afghan warehouses in Al-Mayadeen city.

Syrian Observatory sources suggested advanced systems and weapons to reach Iranian-backed militias.

SOHR sources reported internal differences among Iranian-backed militias, between the Lebanese “Hezbollah,” and the militias of multiple nationalities because of narcotics abuse. Hezbollah opposes widespread drug use among militias.
