To dismiss head of interim government | Activists launch campaign to collect signatures for public resolution

Aleppo province: Activists and residents in Afrin city in northern Aleppo countryside launched a campaign through social media to demand the dismissal of the head of the Syrian interim government Abd Al-Rahman Al-Mostafa.

The resolution issued by activists in Afrin read “Activists of the revolution in Afrin launch a campaign to collect signatures for a public resolution for the dismissal of the head of the interim government, due to the failure of his government on service and political aspects, and due to his statements on supporting normalization and reconciliation with the regime of the Captagon.”

The campaign was launched today from Al-Nairoz Square in Afrin city, and was met with welcoming residents to sign the resolution.

On January 14, SOHR sources reported that hundreds of people participated in protests in Azaz city, calling for obscuring the confidence of Abdulrahman Mustafa, the head of the “Syrian Interim Government,” and condemning his latest statements, in which he expressed that he did not oppose the rapprochement between Ankara and Damascus.

On the other hand, the protestors expelled Salem Al-Muslet, the chairman of the “National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces,” assaulted him and crashed his car, describing him and his escorts as “Shabiha.”
