Turkish bombardment | Rockets hit SDF positions in northern Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported rocket fire carried out by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on SDF positions east of Ain Issa, in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah in the early hours of Friday morning, leaving no casualties.

On January 8, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area, with heavy artillery, shelled positions in Al-Tawila villages and the Assyrian village of Tel Tawil in the western countryside of Tel Tamr in northern Al-Hasakah.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces and their proxies fired several artillery shells nearby Mu’allaq village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah.

This coincided with the escalating military operations by Turkish forces and their proxies in areas controlled by SDF and affiliated military formations in north and east Syria.
