Exploiting civilians’ needs | Russian forces distribute relief baskets in village in Rif Dimashq

Rif Dimashq province: Russian forces have distributed food baskets to residents of Al-Batariyah village in Rif Dimashq, the first food baskets distributed by Russians in 2023.

The baskets of the Russian forces include sugar, tea, rice, and bulgur, one kilogram for each, and several other cans.

The Russian forces distribute these baskets to show their humanity and take advantage of the needs of civilians who are mired in dire living conditions and economic crises.

On December 13, Russian forces continued their campaign to improve and polish their image with a view to woo Syrians, taking advantage of the dire living conditions of most residents of Deir Ezzor in areas hosting Russian forces.

In the context of this, the Russian Reconciliation Centre in Hatlah village in Deir Ezzor countryside distributed foodstuffs to the residents of northern Deir Ezzor countryside, Al-Jazeera, in coordination with the head of each village, and registered families returning to the village for humanitarian and health support.

Recently, 250 food baskets were distributed to the residents of Al-Salhiyah area near Hatla in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

It is worth noting that this is the “sixth” time of distributing food baskets by Russians for Syrians since early 2022. Each basket contains flour, rice, oil, and tea. The food baskets were distributed to all villages and towns in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor “Al-Jazeera.”
