Al-Hasakah | Young man shot dead by Turkish border guards “Jandarma”

Al-Hasakah province: A young man in his 30s from Bokros Tahtani town eastern of Deir Ezzor, was shot dead by the Turkish border guards “Jandarma”, while he was heading towards Turkish territory from the side of Ras Al-Ain city northern of Al-Raqqa.

On January 23, one young man was killed, and two women were injured by Turkish border guard “Jandarma” shooting at a group of civilians. Jandarma forces also severely beat two women using sticks and kicks, west of Ras Al-Ain, north-west of Al-Hasakah, after attempted to cross the Syrian border towards Turkish territory in Al-Aziza village, west of Ras Al-Ain in “Peace Spring” areas, north-west of Al-Hasakah.
