Arbitrary arrests | Al-Hamza faction arrests civilian from Bulbul district in Afrin countryside north of Aleppo
Aleppo province: Members of Al-Hamza faction arbitrarily arrested a civilian from Qurah Kol village in Bulbul district at his residence in Afrin city on January 22 for “dealing with the former “Autonomous-Administration.” The civilian was handed over to Turkish intelligence.
This comes as a part of the policy of systematic clamping down on civilians and displaced people in Afrin by Turkish forces and their proxy factions to force them to evacuate Afrin.
On January 19, Turkish intelligence patrol personnel arrested a civilian near Maysaloun school in Al-Ashrafieh district of Afrin city in the northern countryside of Aleppo for “failing to cooperate with factions and covering up the thieves who stole properties of people forcibly displaced Afrin to the northern countryside of Aleppo”.
