Rif Dimashq | Kidnappers release two young men for ransom

Rif Dimashq province: Yesterday, kidnappers released two young men from Hafir Al-Fawqa town in the western Qalamoun area of Rif Dimashq.

The two young men had been abducted for nearly a month while they were on their way to Homs province.

It is worth noting that the two victims were abducted by a commander of the regime forces, who released them for ransom.

This comes in light of rampant security chaos prevalent in the areas under the control of the regime forces, owing to the increase in kidnappings, assassinations and targeting, amid the failure of the security services to control security and put an end to the chaos throughout regime-held areas.

On January 26, SOHR activists reported that an armed gang kidnapped a woman and her daughter in Homs three days earlier, while they were heading to Lebanon, where members of the gang contacted the family of the woman demanding 65,000,000 Syrian Liras to release them, while the family of the kidnapped woman appealed to concerned authorities and residents requesting emergency to release the kidnapped woman and her daughter.
