Military escalation | Regime soldier and HTS member killed in shelling on 46th regiment frontline in Aleppo countryside

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of a member of “Khalid Ibn Al-Walid” faction of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham and a regime soldier by exchange of fire on the 46th regiment frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo, in “Putin-Erdogan” area.

Putin-Erdogan area sees infiltration attempts and mutual bombardment between regime forces and factions from time to time.
This morning, Regime forces stationed at the checkpoints surrounding “Putin-Erdogan” area fired heavy artillery shells, targeting the villages of Al-Fatirah, Fulayfel and Safohn in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern Idlib countryside, and Al-Sarmaniyah in Sahl Al-Ghab. No casualties have been reported so far.
