Indiscriminate gunfire | Child killed in clashes between SDF and smugglers east of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: A child was killed while herding sheep by a stray bullet fired during clashes between the SDF and a group of diesel smugglers on the bank of the Euphrates river, near Drang village, east of Deir Ezzor.

Last night, SDF units carried out a raid campaign on river crossings in Al-Basirah town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

The SDF units set fire to some river ferries, which move “diesel”, from SDF-held areas to cross to the regime-held areas. Armed clashes that erupted between SDF fighters and smugglers, led to the injury of a civilian who was near the clashes’ place.
