New assa-ssination | Commander of military group of Lebanese Hezbollah kil-led in Daraa

Daraa province: A Palestinian commander of a military group that belongs to the Lebanese Hezbollah was killed and others were injured including a child, where they were targeted by unidentified gunmen driving a car in front of a restaurant in Al-Sahary negihbourhood in Daraa city within the security square of the regime, where the injured people were taken to Al-Rahma hospital that witnessed heavy crowding following the attack, while the gunmen fled towards Daraa Al-Balad.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the victim hails from Al-Sahary neighbourhood in Daraa city, and is known for committing violations against civilians in the city and accused for “drug dealing”, and he forms local groups for the Lebanese Hezbollah in the city and is the head of the Iran-backed Jomaat Al-Arin.

It is worth noting that the area that witnessed the attack is difficult to breach, due to the presence of regime’s security headquarters, in light of the rampant security chaos in Daraa province, amid the failure of local authorities to control security chaos.

Since early 2023, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 44, which left 32 people dead; and they are as follows:
• Eight civilians, including two women.
• 16 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.
• Two former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• Four ISIS members.
• Two ex-combatants with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
