Investigating recent attack | Iranian embassy and Lebanese Hezbollah leaders in Damascus send militiamen to Al-Bokamal, amid security alert

Damascus province: SOHR sources have reported a state of alert and confusion among Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese “Hezbollah” in the capital, Damascus, after a major security flaw of its ranks and targeting of weapons-laden tankers after entering Syrian territory from Al-Bokamal crossing in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The sources added that a senior delegation and investigative members, led by the security official in charge of Iranian-backed militias in Syria, went to Deir Ezzor, amid reports that Iranian militia leaders intended to make changes to officials in charge of the crossing for fear of being agents to Israel or the “International Coalition.”

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia started evacuated several of its military headquarters in Al-Bo Kamal city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, amid a state of mobilization among members of the militia and spreading in the streets in fear of repeated airstrikes.

This coincided with the flight of unknown drones over the reigon.
