SOHR: TARGETING TRUCKS ON THE SYRIAN BORDER

Drones targeted Iranian trucks on the Syrian border shortly after they crossed the border near the Iraqi border city of Al-Qaim, according to security sources. Iraqi security sources stated that drones of unknown origin targeted six Iranian trucks that were transporting fuel shortly after they crossed the Iraqi border, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the drones targeted Iranian refrigeration trucks that crossed the Iraqi border from an unofficial border crossing and headed towards the village of Al-Hari. Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, which also led to its destruction. On a related level, the US Department of Defense denied the Pentagon its connection to the military operation that targeted an Iranian military site in the Iranian city of Isfahan. A Pentagon spokesman stated that Washington did not participate in any military operation in Iran, indicating that Israel appears to be behind the drone attack on a military factory in Isfahan. Iranian officials had said that Iran had thwarted an attack attempt carried out by three small planes targeting the munitions factory in Isfahan, which is located next to a site belonging to the Iranian Space Research Center.
