Death toll update | Explosion of booby-trapped car near military headquarters injures military fighters and child

Daraa province: A child and five people of a local faction of the military intelligence department were injured due to the explosion of a car near military headquarters on Al-Dahiyah road western of Daraa city.

A few hours ago, a loud explosion was heard in Daraa city targeting the headquarters of a local commander known as “Al-Kasm” of the Military Intelligence Department in Al-Dahiya neighbourhood near Al-Sahafa building in Daraa Al-Mahata.

Since early 2023, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 50, which left 36 people dead; and they are as follows:
• Eight civilians, including two women.
• 18 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.
• Two former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• Four ISIS members.
• Two ex-combatants with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• Two people working for the Lebanese Hezbollah.
