Having worked for ISIS | Turkish-backed intelligence branch arrests former Chechen media activist in Azaz

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that intelligence branch in Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo arrested a Chechen man, who had worked as a media activist for the ISIS agency of “Amaq” four years ago.

 

According to SOHR sources, the arrested man confessed to working for ISIS, while several cameras and PCs were found in his house.

 

On January 31, SOHR sources reported that members of Al-Sham Corps that controls Baia’h village in Shirawa district of Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, arbitrarily arrested a man without an official arrest warrant, on charges of “dealing with the former “Autonomous-Administration,” in order to collect a ransom from his family.

 

Moreover, patrols of “counter-terrorism” section of the “military police” raided Deir Ballout camp of Jendires district in Afrin countryside, arresting two residents of the occupied Syrian Golan on charges of “dealing with ISIS cells,” taking them to its security post in Jendires district.
