Fearing expected Israeli attacks | IRGC-backed militias transport weapons and ammunitions from Homs Al-Sukhnah

Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that militias affiliated to Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out military movements yesterday afternoon in the eastern countryside of Homs, fearing expected attacks by Israel.

 

According to SOHR sources, IRGC-backed militiamen transported weapons and ammunitions from their positions in Al-Sukhnah city and Mahin warehouses to unknown destination.

 

SOHR sources have also reported that a military convoy of five trucks left Al-Sukhnah area under heavy guard on Thursday evening.

 

It is worth noting that IRGC and Lebanese Hezbollah have dominated all warehouses in Mahin area in the Syrian desert since Russian military police withdrew to Palmyra military airbase in 2021.
