Abandoning newborns | Residents find baby dumped near a mosque in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Residents have found a newborn baby, who was abandoned by his parents, dumped near Al-Takwa mosque in Al-Zahrawy Sqaure in Al-Hasakah city within areas of the Autonomous Administration, and he was taken to the upgraded “Al-Lo’lo’a” centre and is currently in good health.

This comes in light of security chaos and escalation of phenomenon of abandoning newborn babies in Syria.

On January 21, residents found the body of a newborn girl near the main road western of Al-Raqqa city within SDF-held areas.
