Deir Ezzor | Disputes in “brothel” sparks armed clashes between the National Defence and the 4th Division

Deir Ezzor province: Two members of the National Defence were injured in armed clashes between members of the 4th Division and members of the National Defence, due to disputes in a “brothel” in Cinema Foaad St. in Deir Ezzor city, where machineguns and hand grenades were used.

Meanwhile, the military police and the Internal Security Service “Criminal Security” interfered to break the clashes, amid a state of panic and fear among civilians.

On January 11, armed clashes erupted between members of the regime-backed National Defence on one hand and the security forces of the 4th Division on the other hand in Al-Arfy neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city, due to disputes over a brothel.
On the same context, the “National Defence” brought military reinforcements to the neighbourhood and closed all roads leading to it amid ongoing tension.
