Factional violations | Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah kid-naps a civilian and takes his car and money while Al-Amshat arrest a woman

Aleppo province: Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah faction kidnapped a civilian from Khalitan village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo a few days ago, stole his car, stole 1,500 USDs in his possession and took to A’zaz city in northern Aleppo countryside, while his fate remains unknown.

On the same context, Suleiman Shah faction (Al-Amshat) arrested a woman without an official arrest warrant for “working for the former Autonomous Administration in Afrin” and demanded her family to pay 300 USDs to release the woman. The woman hails from Salo village in Maabatly district in Afrin countryside.

SOHR has documented 38 kidnappings and arbitrary arrests of civilians, including two women, by Turkish-backed factions, military police and Turkish intelligence in January.
