Security chaos | Residents find person in critical condition in regime areas in Lattakia

Lattakia province: Residents have found a person in critical health condition, where he was shot in the head inside his car, in Al-Shamiyah village northern of Lattakia, where he was taken to the hospital of the city to receive proper medication. However, the reasons behind his injury remains unknown.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that two gunmen were killed and others were injured in violent clashes which erupted this morning in Beit Jinn town in Qalamoun area in western Rif Dimashq between a group affiliated with the military intelligence service and another group affiliated with the 4th Division following a family dispute which evolved into clashes.

This coincided with the ongoing security chaos and proliferation of arms in regime-controlled areas, amid authorities’ failure to control the security situation.
