Coming from Turkey via Bab Al-Salama crossing | New UN humanitarian aid convoy crosses into NW Syria

SOHR sources have reported that a new UN aid convoy has crossed into disaster-stricken areas in north-west Syria. The convoy comprises four trucks carrying relief assistance provided to residents affected by the devastating earthquake which hit Syria on February 6.

It is worth noting that the situation on the ground is disastrous, especially since thousands of people have become homeless and are in need to urgent assistance.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a UN convoy comprising 11 trucks carrying food and aid crossed through Bab Al-Salama crossing on border with Turkey. Moreover, another UN convoy comprising four trucks crossed through Bab Al-Hawa crossing, in addition to several trucks provided by organisations and charitable institutions in Turkey, which were carrying food and aids to those affected by the catastrophic earthquake.
