Five new people executed | 16 people killed by ISIS so far and fate of 59 others remains unknown

Homs province: The number of people who have been executed by ISIS cells, after having been kidnapped a few days ago while they were picking truffle in Palmyra desert in east Homs countryside, has risen to 16, including a woman and a regime soldier. Meanwhile, the fate of nearly 59 other people remains unknown.

The bodies of five people were found today in the Syrian desert, four of which were found in one location.

Yesterday, a civilian was shot dead and another was kidnapped by ISIS members, while the civilians were picking truffle in Duwaizin area, east of Oqayrabat in east Aleppo countryside. The fate of the kidnapped civilian remains unknown.

SOHR activists reported earlier that the fate of dozens of Syrians remains unknown, as they were kidnapped by “ISIS” members in Palmyra in the eastern desert of Homs. “ISIS” members were holding about 65 civilians, including women, most of them are truffle pickers who were searching and collecting it. “ISIS” members executed 11 person, including a woman and a regime soldier, among those kidnapped.
