Delivering food baskets and tents | New UN humanitarian aid convoy crosses into NW Syria through Bab Al-Hawa border crossing
SOHR sources have reported that a new UN humanitarian aid convoy crossed into Syria through Bab Al-Hawa crossing on the Syria-Turkey border. The convoy comprised 33 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance, including food baskets, detergents power generators and tents, for people affected by the devastating earthquake in north-west Syria.
Yesterday, SOHR sources have reported that a UN humanitarian aid convoys crossed into Syria through Bab Al-Hawa border crossing in the northern countryside of Idlib. The convoy comprised 22 trucks carrying food baskets and relief supplies for Syrians affected by the earthquake.
Since the latest violent earthquake hit Syria on February 6, nearly 446 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance crossed into areas controlled by the “Salvation Government” and the “Syrian Interim Government” in north-west Syria; they are distributed as follows:
- 161 trucks crossed through Bab Al-Hawa crossing.
- 285 trucks crossed through Bab Al-Salama, Al-Raq’i and Al-Hamam crossings.
