Missile attack | Viral positions in two bases of International Coalition targeted in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Missiles of unidentified source were fired on two bases of the International Coalition in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, coinciding with major mobilization of the International Coalition forces in the vicinity of its largest bases in Syria in “Al-Omar field.”

The missiles targeted viral positions in the bases, where some missiles targeted a helipad in Al-Omar field. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the missiles are likely to be fired by Iranian militias.

This comes after the Iranian militias changed their tactics in facing the International Coalition forces in Syria, depending on members from eastern of Euphrates.

Yesterday, The International Coalition base in Koniko gas field in Deir Ezzor countryside witnessed security tension among SDF and the International Coalition, where 12 military US tanks deployed in the vicinity of the field, coinciding with the flight of warplanes over the region, without knowing the reasons.
On February 15, American forces shot down an Iranian drone in north-east Syria, while the drone was conducting a reconnaissance tour over the military base of “Koniko” gas field, where International Coalition Forces are stationed in northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
