Ongoing viola*tions | “National Army” factions continue loo*ting civilian properties by for*ce and felling olive trees in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that militiamen of “Sultan Murad” Division have felled nearly 30 olive trees in Asteer and Qarrah Tabbah villages in Afrin countryside.

 

Meanwhile, members of “Al-Hamzah” Division felled nearly 15 olive trees in Kafr Zait village and 11 other trees in Kafr village in Afrin countryside.

 

Moreover, “Al-Sham Corps,” which dominates Ba’i village in Shirawa district, felled nearly 35 olive trees for selling them as fire logs.

 

Separately, militiamen of “Al-Hamzah” Division, which dominates Ma’rata village in Afrin countryside, took over a house by force in order to settle the family of a militiamen of the faction in this house.

 

Similarly, “Al-Sham Corps” militiamen expelled several indigenous inhabitants from their houses in Fafertin village in Shirawa district in order to settle families of the faction’s members, after the houses which they had lived in sustained damage due to the earthquake.

 

Furthermore, militiamen of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” sold three houses in Al-Ashrafiyah neighbourhood in Afrin city for 1,000 USD a house and five apartments in the same neighbourhood for 800 USD an apartment.

 

In Raju district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, militiamen of “Jaysh Al-Sharqiyah” faction stormed an olive oil store belonging to a civilian from Qadda village, looting nearly 20 tins of olive oil. It is worth noting that the military police took no action, although the looted store is located near the military police station.
